The proposed layout will provide the <br />needed parking and a more manageable site for their clients. Mr. Raig asked if the parking would <br />remain on the current parcel or would it extend onto the abutting lot. Mr. Neff said the abutting <br />parcel would be consolidated and the parking lot extended northeast and all existing and new <br />parking areas will be buffered by fencing and the existing sound walls. Mr. Allain said it is well <br />known that residents have voiced the business needs more parking and the proposed layout will <br />enhance the corner of the intersection. Board members agreed the expansion was warranted and <br />would enhance the area. <br />Ms. Rudolph moved, seconded by Mr. Lopez, to grant CMS 13-27: Chambers Funeral of <br />29150 Lorain Road the following variances: <br />1. A 9o16-foot variance for rear yard setback (north parking); code requires a setback of <br />15 feet where abutting residential property, applicant provides vai-ying amounts <br />between 5.5 feet to 5.84 feet, Section 1139.07 table. <br />2. A 14.91-foot variance for side yard setback on a corner lot (east parking); code requires <br />20 feet, applicant provides varying amounts between 5.09 feet to 17.82 feet, Section <br />1139.08. <br />Motion passed 5-0. <br />COMMUNICATION <br />Mr. Lopez said his new position at worlc required more traveling and possibly relocating <br />therefore he would be resigning his position on the board.
