e. 1Vlerchandise <br />Lauren has done some research into merchandise but cost will depend on the designs and <br />nuinber of colors. The goal is to have merchandise available by the NYE event. Jeff and <br />Beclci will worlc with Lauren on design options for the shirt. <br />f. Art Showcase <br />Laura said that in lieu of a competition, she and JoAnn are considering an arts showcase <br />event which would talce place at Great Northern Mall near the end of October 2015. She <br />outlined two options, one that would brealc out the arts disciplines over the course of the year <br />and a second option that would be a one-time arts showcase featuring all media. The group <br />felt the second option would be easier to plan and manage. <br />III. Brew Launch Event - October 23, 2014 <br />Kiin has sold about 115 ticlcets, unknown how many have been sold at Fat Head's. JoAnn is <br />approaching media oLrtlets for coverage. Bill is handling the PA/sound system and music. Cailey <br />and Jaclcie are organizing the raffle. They have secured donated items and will plan for the onsite <br />logisitics. Commemorative pint glasses with the bicentennial logo are in. David N and Paul have <br />printed posters of seven images for display at the event. Kim has purchased easels. <br />IV. Event Stntus Reports <br />a. New Year's Eve Bash <br />Posters and rack card designs were shared; promotional material will be available at the Brew <br />Launch. At least 200 tickets must be sold and there will be a maximum of 300. DJ and photo <br />booth are secured. Members suggested exploring childcare services, which community <br />groups could offer as a fundraiser. Car services such as Uber may also offer a discount. <br />b. I If North Olmsted <br />Kim, Sue, Cailey and Stephanie are plaiming events for February. Cailey said there will be a <br />fitness related event, the State of the City at Springvale, and a cooking related event. The <br />monfh will be branded by Sue. Cailey will devise a student art competition and is <br />investigating yarn bombing. <br />c. Coptamunity Picnic <br />Gretchen re.ported the community picnic will be Sunday, July 26th at North Olmsted Parlc <br />from 1-4pm; the space is reserved. It is possible the BIKEcentennial can coincide with the <br />picnic. More information will be available at the next meeting. <br />d. Historic Tour <br />October 11 has been reserved for the event. Kim aslced the event group to come up with a <br />catchy name for the events page of the website. <br />e. Play <br />Dale and Jeff inet to discuss production of the play. Jeff suggested reaching out to the high <br />school drama group and have it be a student production. It could possibly be performed at <br />2
