III. Brew Launch Event - October 23, 2014 <br />Only 250 ticlcets will be sold at $25 each. Kim has tickets as does Fat Head's. Kim is writing a <br />press release within a weelc. JoAnn is approaching media outlets for coverage. Bill is handling <br />the PA/sound system but requires others to provide music. Nicole, Cailey and Jaclcie will <br />organize the raffle, which involves securing donated items, packaging them, and handling setup <br />and ticket sales. Duane is responsible for ordering commemorative pint glasses with the <br />bicentennial logo for each attendee. David N and Paul will worlc with Landmarks and OHS to <br />identify about six images, iconic of North Olmsted, which can be blown up to poster size and <br />used as displays at the event. Kim will secure easels. <br />IV. Event Status Renorts <br />New Year's Eve Bash <br />Jaclcie is worlcing with Lauren on design elements. Promotional information will be available <br />at the Brew Launch. At least 200 ticlcets must be sold and there will be a maximum of 300. <br />DJ and photo booth are secured. <br />b. I d North Olmsted <br />The inain event in February is the mayor's state of the city lunch at Springvale. More help is <br />needed to flesh out the event and plan for other thematic tie-ins during the month, possibly <br />partnering with the schools. Cailey will help Kim; Kim recniited Sue for graphics support. <br />c. Summer in the City series <br />Dates have been secured at the parlc and cabin. Logistics will be similar to 2014. Additional <br />activities will be added to the events to support the music performances. Bill, David W and <br />Laura will take the lead on these events. <br />d. Independenee Day fireworks <br />The event will talce place July 5 with a rain date of July 12. Moen will be the launch site with <br />the party talcing place in the Great Northern Mall parlcing lot. Annie will be worlcing to <br />develop ideas for the experience; the mall will be principally in charge of all aspects of the <br />party/event, with the City focusing on the fireworks logistics. <br />e. BIKEcentennial <br />Molly is working on setting up meeting dates with the NEOCycle group. <br />f. Community Picnic <br />Gretchen reported the community picnic will be Sunday, July 26t" at North Olmsted Parlc; the <br />space is reserved. It is possible the BIKEcentennial can coincide with the picnic to add <br />substance and energy to both events. <br />g. Homeeoming <br />In addition to support normally provided, the City's presence will be limited to the Friday <br />Big Tent Event. Paul and Carrie will lead efforts to program the big tent space.
