There is both
aluminum and vinyl siding on the home now and they plan to replace the aluminum with vinyl
siding to match the white vinyl siding on the garage and addition. Mr. Nagy said the vinyl siding
will be 4%z inch clapboard lap profile siding and the siiingles for the roof will be Pinnacle pristine
dove color dimensional shingles. Mr. Schumann asked if the shingles would be the same color as
the existing shingles and Mr. Nagy said the color is the closest match to the existing color.
Mr. Schumann moved, seconded by Ms. Schuler, to grant CMS15-3527:, Nikki Brunello of
25417 Butternut Ridge Road a certificate of appropriateness to replace existing siding and
roofing as submitted, which passed 5-0.
CMS15-3608; Catherine Wunderle; 26926 Butternut Ridge Road
Proposal consists of a Certificate of Appropriateness for front and rear gravel pads.
Ms. Wunderle said the gravel pad in the rear of the home is more than 12 years old and the front
gravel pad was installed 10 years ago. Her home is located at the traffic light of Butternut and
Fitch and exiting the driveway is impossible without a turnaround so as to exit forward. The
gravel pad was installed due to the number of drivers in the home increasing as well as their cars
being hit by vehicles maneuvering around the traffic light. Gravel pads and driveways are
common along Butternut due to the age of homes and ever increasing traffic volume along
Butternut Ridge. Her lot is only 45 ft. wide and the driveway is a single car drive. She requests
the commission allow her to keep the gravel pads.
