Laura said the food trucks were very (very) emphatic
about making a strong effort at promotions and wanted flyers to distribute at their other events.
Lauren will design a flyer with the three concerts and food vendors listed.
Bicentennial Boom - July 5, 2015 @ 7:OOPM
Kim updated the group on happenings since the last meeting, including the mall backing away
from the festival portion of the event and a committee of city staff and commission members
coming together to pull it off. She reviewed a DJ has been secured, food trucks confirmed, and
groups identified to sell pop and water. Additional'entertainment is in the works, such as face
painters and balloon benders. The next committee meeting is 5/27 at 6PM at city hall.
BiKEcentennial & Community Picnic - July 26, 2015 @ 10:30AM
Kim said the committee has secured ThrillerBMX and St. Edward Trash Talkers for
entertainment plus the Bike Village will contain a bike decorating station and groups and
organizations related to biking.
