NEW BUSINESS <br />PR/Publicity <br />Lauren is working on a t-shirt and tote bag design, a rack card, a postcard and a bicentennial <br />generic banner for over Lorain Road. She will also design streetscape banners. Kim will <br />investigate costs of a citywide mailing. The city has an opporiunity to advertise on mall barricade <br />walls. Kim will send space and pricing info to JoAnn who will investigate printing possibilities. <br />Stephanie and Sue have subject matter for February features for the website Inspire section. Jeff <br />will send Kim a list of North Olmsted related Facebook groups to connect to. <br />I If North Olmsted <br />Sue has designed two banners. City print shop is recently up and running, have conducted test <br />prints, and have ordered necessary banner material and supplies for hanging. Service will hang <br />banners by Feb. 1 or as close as possible. <br />T-shirts, keychains and stickers are in design with the goal of having merchandise on hand by the <br />first February event. Kim has developed a PR/media schedule for February. She needs a poster <br />or card design with all I heart NO events from Sue for use online and to print. She needs <br />Lauren's help making Facebook events. <br />Commit to be Fit is February 6`h from 6:00 to 9:OOPM. The Rec Center will take care of <br />programming, food, and will donate parks and rec basket for raffle. St John will be present at <br />event for blood pressure screenings and heart health info. They will donate a basket and possibly <br />heart shaped stress balls. Kim and Carrie will staff bicentennial table and sell merchandise, <br />collect raffle tickets, promote website. Other commission members are welcome to join! <br />State of the City is February 12th from 11:30AM to 1:30PM. Registration/ticket sales are open at <br />celebratenortholmsted.com. Cailey has reached out to intermediate school art teachers in regards <br />to an I heart NO coloring craft. Images from craft will run on a PPT during the event or <br />otherwise be on display. <br />Farm Market & Food Show is February 22nd from 1:00 to 4:OOPM. Stephanie has drafted cover <br />letters and contracts for farm market and food show vendors and is actively inviting participants. <br />The North Olmsted Magazine will be mailed out to residents on February 9; Kim hopes to have <br />copies in hand for Commit to be Fit. <br />Mavor's Art Show <br />The Mayor's Art Show will take place on April 15, 2015 from 6:00 to 7:30PM. Format will be <br />much the same as last year. More art should be displayed around Council Chambers were awards <br />are distributed. JoAnn will take the lead on the event, initiate contact with the school art teachers, <br />and will be supported by Sue. The city can offer printing. <br />Summer in the Citv <br />Laura reported that three bands were secured for Summer in the City (June 21, July 19 and <br />August 16). Clayton Brothers will play in June, Tricky Dick and the Cover Ups will play in July,
