.. x. [ `. ?
process for commercial use. Ms. Rudolph aslced if the board should address the matter and Mr.
Allain suggested the board move on the project as written, deny the request, and advise him that
he can apply as a commercial site. Mr. Gareau said Mr. Allain's assessment is correct however
the applicant is still required to construct a residential garage for the home. Mr. Russell asked if
Mr. Kinley lived in the home or rented it out and Mr. Kinley said he rents the home. Mr. Russell
advised Mr. Kinley he is required to register the home as a rental property. Mr. Kinley said he
has been rumling his business out of his hoine and from this site for the past ten years. Ms.
Rudolph advised the applicant to meet with the building official for details as to how to proceed.
Mr. Raig moved, seconded by Mr. Allain, to grant APP15-2640: Ryan Kinley of 30940
Lor•ain Road a 1194 sq. ft. variance for a detached garage; code permits 750 sq. ft.,
applicant shows 1944 sq. ft., Section 1135.02(c)(a), which failed 0-4.
APP15-2671: F'red Obreza; 5219 Berlcshire Drive:
Proposal consists of a shed, the following variance is requested:
1. A 40 sq. ft. variance for a new shed; code permits 120 sq. ft., applicant shows 160 sq. ft.,
Section 1135.02(d). 'Note: Proposed shed to replace existing shed.
The oath was adininistered to Fred Obreza. He wants a 10' by 16' shed as his home has no
basement or attic storage. The proposed shed would replace the existing 10' by 12'shed and
provide adequate storage for his family. Mr. Russell said he had no objections. Ms. Rudolph
aslced if the existing shed would be removed and Mr. Obreza said yes. Mr. Papotto asked what
direction the doors would face and Mr. Obreza said the new shed would be further away froin the
home and the doors would face north. Mr. Allain said due to the lack of storage space available
in the home he had no objections to the request. The request is not substantial and meets the
spirit of the zoning code. Mr. Papotto questioned the height of the shed and Mr. Russell said the
height was within code.
Ms. Rudolph moved, seconded by Mr. Allain, to grant APP15-2671: Fred Obreza of 5219
Berlcshire Drive a 40 sq. ft. variance for a new shed; code permits 120 sq. ft., applicant
shows 160 sq. ft., Section 1135.02(d), which passed 4-0.
ADJOURNMENT
With no fiirther business, Ms. Bellido absence was excused and meeting ad?j. ed at 7:30 p.m.
?
,
Jei i r Rud 1 h, Chair onna Rote, Clerk of Commissions
Approved: '"1 I ("' 1,1.5
2
