J
u ? ?L
The oath was administered to Bryan Parker. Mr. Parker said he would like to have a 10'x12'
shed for storage. Mr. Allain asked the square footage of the lot and Mr. Parker said if their lot
was 1 square foot larger he would be allowed by code to have the shed he is requesting. Ms.
Rudolph said she felt the shed fit the size of the lot and it wouldn't adversely impact the
neighborhood. Mr. Allain said if the lot was 1 sq. ft. larger the applicant wouldn't need a
variance. The spirit and intent of the code would be upheld granting the applicant the variances.
Mr. Raig moved, seconded by Mr. Allain, to grant 15-4302: Bryan & Tiffany Parker of
6176 Winding Creek Lane the following variances:
1. A 40 sq. ft. variance for a shed; code permits 80 sq. ft., applicant shows 120 sq. ft.,
Section 1135.02(d)(1).
3. A 1 ft. variance for the height of a shed; code permits 8 ft., applicant shows 9 ft.,
Section1135.02(d)(1).
Motion passed 5-0.
15-4304: Michael McGuire; 24310 Woodmere Drive
Proposal consists of a rear deck. The following variance is requested:
l. A 2 ft. variance for the rear setback; code 50 ft., applicant shows 48 ft., Section 1135.08(a).
The oath was administered to Michael McGuire. Mr. McGuire said a 2 ft. variance is needed for
the rear deck. The back of the home has a patio door which leads nowhere and drops about 4 ft.
to the ground. The rear door near the kitchen also leads nowhere and drops to the ground. There
will be an upper deck off the patio door with three steps down to the main deck which is off the
back door near the kitchen. In order to balance the size of the two decks and have enough room
to use the lower deck the additional two feet is needed. A section of fence will be removed to
accommodate the new deck. Board members said the 2 feet will allow the deck to be functional.
Ms. Bellido moved, seconded by Mr. Allain, to grant 15-4304: Michael McGuire of 24310
Woodmere Drive a 2 ft. variance for the rear setback for a deck; code 50 ft., applicant
shows 48 ft., Section 1135.08(a), motion passed 5-0.
ADJOURNMENT
With no further business the meeting adjourned at 7:45 p.m.
J fer R ph, Chair onna Rote, Clerk o Commissions
Approved:
4
