_. '. <br />and get contact information for the music department. <br />JoAnn discussed the spring gallery which will run May 2-27. No reception is planned at city hall <br />but she will host one for a selected artist at her gallery. A committee of the Commission will jury <br />the submissions. Digital submissions will be required for ease of review. <br />Summer in the Citv <br />Laura has received many inquiries from bands regarding Summer in the City. While there has <br />been interest, she is looking for not just good musicians, but also bands with followings that will <br />boost attendance at the event. She said that by adding a"halftime" performance of a dance <br />group, it is likely that more family members would attend and stay for the concert. She discussed <br />the challenges of finding food trucks willing to come to the event for low sales. Bill thought the <br />food trucks were an important part of the event. James has connections and experience in this <br />area and will take on food truck scheduling. Kim said that a new State Farm agent has expressed <br />interest in sponsoring Summer in the City.
