They want to remove the neon and have non-illuminated signs. They would like to keep the visibility currently provided by their signage. Discussion about if proposed sign is a pole or monument sign. Mr. Raig clarified that there will be more signs but the square footage will be reduced. Mr. Russell stated that he was unable to find anything in the file for the existing signage variances. Mr. Allain pointed out that the building is visible from all sides so signage is needed. Mr. Papotto liked the design of the signs. Ms. Meredith did not think the Board would object if it was a new sign package. Code permits 1 sign, applicant shows 4 wall signs, section 1163.28(a).
