located in the General Retail Business district. Mr. Anderson asked about the above ground frost-
proof yard hydrants. Ms. Pavlovic stated that there are drinking fountains by the pavilion and
stadium. Ms. Pavlovic stated that there would be no structures on the south end of the campus
but the fieldhouse by the stadium would have the permanent restrooms. The south side of the
property is in the flood zone so they decided not to put permanent structures there. Mr. Anderson
clarified that the press box has elevators for accessibility and suggested that there should be
accessible seating at the upper level also. Ms. Pavlovic stated that the press box accessibility is
required because of its size. There is accessible seating on the first row of the bleachers with
ramp accessibility.
Tom Phillips, 5533 Burns Road, questioned an ongoing problem regarding his property line with
the school. Part of his property was originally Northern Ave which was vacated and split
between his property and his neighbor's. The fence line on his property consists of a chain link
fence and wood fence. When the school did their survey, there is a foot and a half difference
between the fence line and property line. He was also concerned about the water issues if the
stadium is installed in the flood plain. He asked if the ball fields were included in the project. He
asked how trees growing into the fence would be addressed.
Tim Harbison, 5462 Revere Drive, was concerned about the pxoperty that was purchased by the
schools directly across from Dover Center Road. He believed that the green space was supposed
to be preserved with the purchase but the trees have since been cleared. He was concerned about
the Type of tree canopy that they can expect. He knew a fence would be installed but he would
like to see more trees installed to provide more shade.
Sue Ranker, 5526 Revere Drive, asked if a front door would be installed along Butternut Ridge
Road. She also asked about ingress and egress to the campus for cars and buses. She complained
about the snow plows and stated that activity is beginning at 6:00 a.m. She was concerned about
the amount of traffic on her street and being unable to make left hand turns from Revere Drive.
She suggested that westbound traffic go out at Burns Road and eastbound traffic go out at Revere
Drive and only make right-hand turns. She wanted an auxiliary policeman to direct traffic after
school. She wanted an entrance from Fitch Road also. She wanted a sound barrier fence installed
instead of the board on board fence. She asked if a barrier would be installed around the retention
basin. She suggested that the RTA buses have a stop in front of the school since students are not
bused. She was concerned about where parents would park if they were picking up their kids.
She was concerned about paramedics being able to access the street during school hours. She
liked the stadium but asked where the goal post, scoreboard, and flag would be located.
Andrew Votaw, 5593 Burns Road, wanted to know where the chain link and board and board
fences would be installed. He asked if the Burns Road sidewalk project was separate, which it is.
Dave Smith, 27346 Nantucket Drive, was concerned about the flood plain issues. He thought that
the retention pond should have a fence around it. He was concerned about asbestos issues when
the old school is demolished and whether the homes around it would be protected. He
appreciated what the City did to renovate the ditches by Revere but he wanted the ditch behind
their homes attended to also.
