Summer Music Event I Julv 28 <br />It was agreed by all the name for this event will be "North Olmsted Party in the Park: Live Music <br />& Food Trucks" and will be held on Saturday, July 28th from 5-9pm at North Olmsted Park and <br />Community Cabin. Leah agreed to work on securing food trucks and Laura will take the lead on <br />music booking and get a call for artists prepared within the next week. Jackie confirmed the <br />Cabin is booked in the event of rain. Annie will research liquor laws and the possibility for the <br />VFW to host a beer tent. James will prepare an event outline for the April meeting to begin <br />assigning tasks and organizing the event. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Citv Hall Art Gallery <br />Leah moved to approve the Natural Wonders May group exhibit artists, seconded by Laura, <br />motion passed unanimously. <br />Leah moved to approve the JoAnn DePolo and students June group exhibit, seconded by Laura, <br />motion passed unanimously. <br />Holidav Decoration Sale <br />Jackie shared her desire to order holiday decorations as a way to begin gathering unique exterior <br />displays for Commission use around the holidays. Jackie moved to approve the purchase of <br />holiday decorations up to $500, seconded by Annie, motion passed unanimously. <br />Communitv Council Membership <br />The group agreed that while they are in favor of staying a community member in 2018, increased <br />collaboration should be sought moving ahead. Jackie moved to renew the Arts Commission's <br />CommuniTy Council membership for 2018 at a cost of $20, seconded by Annie, motion passed <br />unanimously. <br />AI)JOU12N1VIENT <br />With no further business, the meeting adjourned at 8:04 p.m. <br />(L? ??
