,- -- <br />, <br />LANDMARKS COMMISSION <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />MINUTES FOR MEETING OF MAY 14, 2018 <br />ROLL CALL <br />Mr. Neville called the meeting to order at 7:11 pm in t^ouncil Chambers. <br />Present: David Neville, Jim Morse, Sarah Egan-Reeves, Paul Schumann, Elizabeth Cardarelli, <br />Kevin Kearney (after Skafidas vote) <br />Absent: Gretchen Schuler, Tom Dubowski <br />Staff: Assistant Law Director Bryan O'Malley, Planner James Aspery, Administrative Assistant <br />Nicole Rambo-Ackerman <br />REVIEW AND APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />Mr. Morse moved, seconded by Ms. Egan-Reeves, to approve the Landmarks Commission <br />minutes of February 12, 2018, motion passed 5-0. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />18-10776; Harrv Skafidas; 27060 Butternut Ridge Road <br />Mr. Neville confirmed with the applicant that he will be replacing all of the existing casement <br />windows with new casement windows with no grills in them. Mr. Morse clarified that the size of <br />the window openings will not change. <br />Mr. Morse moved, seconded by Ms. Egan-Reeves, to approve the Certificate of <br />Appropriateness for new windows for 18-10776; Harry Skafidas; 27060 Butternut Ridge <br />Road, motion passed 5-0. <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br />26580 Butternut Ridge Road Violation <br />Randy Glassburn, owner of 26580 Butternut Ridge Road, received a violation notice from the <br />Building Department regarding interior property maintenance issues. Mr. O'Malley advised the <br />Conunission not to entertain his request because there was no application submitted and they do <br />not have all of the information. Mr. Schumann said the inspection was done for a rental unit and <br />the interior matters are not within the jurisdiction of the Landmarks Commission. <br />2017 Year in Review <br />Mr. Neville stated that Mr. Morse's concerns were addressed in the final draft. Mr. Aspery stated <br />that the Review will be posted online and shared through the Celebrate North Olmsted social <br />media outlets. <br />Mr. Schumann moved, seconded by Mr. Morse, to approve the 2017 Year in Review, <br />motion passed 6-0.
