Ms. Nader thought the allowable <br />materials for the parking pad should be referenced, Mr. Schumann said they include temporary <br />pads. <br />Mr. Schumann said a group of residents came before Council who were interested in putting in <br />Little Free Libraries. The city told them that it was not allowed since it was not mentioned in the <br />code. Mr. Schumann was concerned about the free libraries being maintained. The libraries <br />would be have to be out of the right-of-way, the sidewalk would not be blocked and there would <br />be size restrictions. If abandoned for six months, the owners would be asked to remove it. There <br />are boxes by the senior center and at a few of the schools.
