. . Ms. Nunn representing Smokey Bones came foPward to be swom in and address the request. Ms. Nunn reviewed that the building would be located in front of Dick's Store. The location of the building, warrants three signs to be seen. The square footage is less then what they normally have. "The trademark is a stack sign and can not be built that sma11. She presented photos with signs to the members. If the sign is reduced to 4-feet it vvould be hard to see. The number of restaurants which are near tlus and closer to Brookpazk Road have twice as many and larger signs. They would like all fhree sizes to be the same. Applicants believe that the Iettering would nof be Iegible if oniy 4-feef. "T'heir square footage is under their maximum signs for a site of its own. Members felt that the main entrance sign was warranted and would gcant 6 inches each for the other two. N. Sergi moved to grant Sinokey Bones of 25785 Brookpazk Road their request for variance (1123.12), wfiich consisis of a sign package and tfiat the following variance is granted: 1. A variances for 3 wall signs on a building, (code permits 1, applicant shows 3). Which is in violation of section (1163.27 (A)). M. Diver seconded the motion, wluch was unanirnously approved. Variance Granted. W. Kremzar moved to grant Smokey Bones of 25785 Brookpark Road their request for variance (1123.12), which consists of a sign package and that the following variances are granted as amended: 2. A 6 inch variance for a sigp higher thm code permits (sign A), (code permits 4', applicant shows 4' 6"). 4. A 6 inch variance for a sign higher than code permits (sign C), (code permits 4', applicant shows 4'6"). Wluch is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section (1163.27 (Q. W. Sergi moved to grant Smokey Bones of 25785 Brookpark Road their reciuest for variance (1123.12), which consists of a sign package and that the following variance is granted: 3. A 1 foot 6 inch variance for a szgn fiigher than code permits (sign B), (code permifs 4'y applicant shows 5'6"). Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 sectiori (1163.27 (C)}. W. Kremzar seconded the monon which was unanimously approved. Variance C`?ranted. J. Maloney moved to grant Smokey Bones of 25785 Brookpark Road their request for variance (1123.12), which consists of a sign package and that the foilowing variance is granted as amended: 5. A variance for total square fvotage for total signage on a building, Totat will be calculated by the Building Department. Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section (1163.24 (B)). W.
