BOAIZD OF ZONING APPEAL.S 2005 REPOIZT <br />Red Lobster 25615 Brookuark Road: (WRD #4) <br />J. Maloney moved to grant Red Lobster of 25615 Brookpark Road their request for variance <br />(1123.12), which consists of a sign package and that the following variances are granted as <br />amended: <br />1). A variance for more than 1 wall sign on a building, (code permits 1, applicant shows 3), <br />section (1163.27 (A)). <br />2). A variance for a banner sign for 30 days while hiring prior is taking place. <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 sections (1163.27 (A)). Variances are contingent upon no <br />additional wall signs, banner signs, temporary signs, sandwich boards, billboards, window sale <br />signs or lawn signs be used or requested. N. Sergi seconded the motion which was unanimously <br />approved. 11/3/05 <br />DECEMBER 1, 2005 <br />Mark McCollaugh; 23820 Lorain Road: (WRD # 2) <br />J. Maloney motioned that as Mark McCollaugh of 23820 Lorain Road had failed to appear twice <br />the request is dismissed without prejudiced and the applicant is welcomed to reapply for a <br />variance if he wishes at a later date. N. Sergi seconded the motion which was unanimously <br />approved. Case Dismissed 12/1/05 <br />Patti Parkinson; 5959 Stearns Road: (WRD 3) <br />N. Sergi moved to approve Patti Parkinson of 5959 Stearns Road her request for variance <br />(1123.12), which consists of no driveway and that the following variance is granted as amended: <br />A variance for not installing a cement driveway as proposed, driveway must be in no later than <br />May 31, 2006. (code requires a hard surface driveway, applicant shows gravel). Which is in <br />violation of Ord. 90-125 section (1161.11 (A)). T. Kelly seconded the motion, which was <br />unanimously approved. 12/1/05 <br />Emerald Villase; 30344 Lorain Road: (WRD 3) <br />J. Maloney moved to table Emerald Village of 30344 Lorain Road as agreed upon to their first <br />meeting in 2006 so they could address the boards concerns. T. Kelly seconded the motion which <br />was unanimously approved. Tabled 12/1/05 <br />Fast Cash; 27328 Lorain Itoad: (WRD 1) <br />N. Sergi moved to approve Fast Cash of 27328 Lorain Road their request for variance (1123.12), <br />which consists of a new wall sign and that the following variance is granted: <br />A variance for a wall sign larger than code permits on a unit, (code permits 20 1/2 sq ft, applicant <br />shows 36 sq ft). Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section (1163.24 (C)). M. Maloney <br />seconded the motion, which was unanimously denied 12/1/05 <br />Dennis Kaczmarek (Therm All Inc.); 31393 Industrial Parkway: (WRD 3) <br />N. Sergi moved to approve Dennis Kaczmarek (Therm All Inc.) of 31393 Industrial Parkway <br />their request for variance (1123.12), which consists of an additional ground sign and that the <br />following variance is granted as amended: A variance for a second ground sign on a lot based <br />upon placement of both signs being installed as shown on plans submitted (code permits 1, <br />applicant shows 2), (see note). Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section (1163.26 (A)). N. <br />Sergi seconded the motion which was unanimously approved. Variance Granted 12/1/05 <br />N. Sergi moved to take January 2006 as vacation and hold first meeting of 2006 to be Thursday, <br />February 2, 2006. The clerk is to send a note to Council, Planning Commission members, the <br />administration and the Law Department advising them of such. M.
