BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS 2005 REPORT <br />Target/Sign Lite; 24646 Brookpark Road: (WRD 4) <br />W. Kremzar moved to approve TargetlSign Lite of 24646 Brookpark Road their request for <br />variance as amended: (1123.12), which consist of a new wall signs and that the following <br />variance is granted: <br />1. A variance for 3 wall signs on a building, (code permits 1, applicant shows 3) (4-foot bulls-eye <br />on south elevation). <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section (1163.27 A). Contingent upon no additional wall <br />signs, banner signs, temporary signs, sandwich boards, billboards, window sale signs or lawn <br />signs be used or requested. J. Maloney seconded the motion, roll call on the motion; J. Maloney, <br />W. Kremzar, T. Kelly, "yes", N. Sergi "no" and M. Diver abstained, motioned passed. 11/3/05 <br />Harry Buffalo; 470 Great Northern Mall: (WRD 4) <br />W. Kremzar moved to grant Harry Buffalo of 470 Great Northern Mall their request for variance <br />(1123.12) which consists of a 2nd wall sign and that the following variances are granted: <br />1. A variance for a 2"d wall sign on a unit, (code permits 1, applicant shows 2), section (1163.27 <br />(A). <br />2. A 59 square foot variance for total square feet of signage on a building unit #l, (code permits <br />110 sq', applicant shows 169 sq'), section (1163.24 (C)). <br />Which is in violation of 90-125, Sections (1163.27 (A)) and (1163.27 (C)). J. Maloney seconded <br />the motion, roll call on the motion; J. Maloney, W. Kremzar, T. Kelly, N. Sergi, "yes" and M. <br />Diver "no". Variances granted. 11/3/05 <br />Douglas & Kathleen Maciver; 5806 Stearns Road: (WRD 3) <br />J. Maloney moved to grant Douglas & Kathleen Maciver of 5806 Stearns Road their request for <br />variance (1123.12), which consists of a new shed and that the following variance is granted as <br />amended: <br />1. A 3 foot 10 inch foot variance for an accessory structure too close to rear property line, (code <br />requires 10', applicant shows 6' .2 "). Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section (1135.02 <br />(D4)). W. Kremzar seconded the motion which was unanimously approved 11/3/05 <br />William Plank; 4589 Columbia Road: (WRD 4) <br />request for variance (1123.12), which consists of a new fence and that the following variances are <br />granted: <br />1. A 25 foot variance for a 6' privacy fence located in a neighbor's 50' setback on a corner lot, <br />(code requires 50', applicant shows 25'), section (1135.02 (f2)). _ <br />2. A 42 inch variance for a fence higher than code allows on a corner lot in a 50' neighbors <br />setback, (code permits 30", applicant shows 72"), section (1135.02 (fl)). <br />3. A variance for a fence less than 50% open on a corner lot in a neighbor's 50' setback, (code <br />requires 50% open, applicant shows solid), section (1135.02 (fl)). <br />4. An 11 foot variance for a fence (dog run) located in a neighbor's 50' setback on a corner lot, <br />(code requires 50', applicant shows 39'), section (1135.02 (f2)) (see note). <br />5. An 18 inch variance for a fence higher than code allows on a corner lot in a neighbors 50' <br />setback, (code requires 30", applicant shows 48"), section (1135.02 (fl)) (see note). <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 sections (1135.02 (fl)) and 1135.02 (f2)). M. Diver <br />seconded the motion which was unanimously approved. Variances Granted 11/3/05 <br />Mark McCollaugh; 23820 Lorain Road: (WRD # 2) <br />J. Maloney moved table Mark McCollaugh of 23820 Lorain Road until December 1, 2005 Board <br />of Zoning Appeals meeting as the applicant was not present. N. Sergi seconded the motion which <br />was unanimously approved. <br />20
