• • ' VI. COMMITTEE REPORTS:
Mrs. Lord indicated that she downloaded a national registry application from the National
Registry web-site. She advised that the commission would need to start gathering the
information on the Johnson-Stearns home to start the registering process.
Mr. Schock reviewed that he attended the Cleveland Restoration Society Awards Ceremony
and Shaker Heights received an award for rewriting their Landmarks ordinances, which
strengthen their Landmarks. He requested the clerk contact the clerk of Shaker Heights to
receive a copy of their.ordinance so the commission could review and compare it to North
Olmsted's and possibly strengthen their own ordinance. Mr. Lang suggested waiting until
the CLG application was submitted for review as it could possibly be addressed at that time.
VII. OLD BUSINESS:
Mr. Lang reviewed that he received a minor change for 27570 Butternut Ridge requesting
approval to pave the existing gravel driveway with concrete. Although the driveway has
been gravel for many years the commission had no objections as it was bringing the
driveway up to code. .
Mrs. Lord indicated that at the time the Barton Road Church was being moved she and Mr.
Schock discussed video documenting sites within North Olmsted and she offered to do a
driving guided survey/tour of North Olmsted over the course of a few days. She believed
that it would be a good opportunity to document some of the City's history and inquired
who on the commission would like to participate in the project. All Commissioners were
interested in the video survey/tour. Mrs. Lord advised that she would contact everyone once
things were setup to get started.
VIII. ADJOURNMENT:
B. Davis moved to adjourn the meeting. P. Barker seconded the motion, which was
unanimously approved. Meeting Adjourned at 8:22 pm.
;,I/ v ?4?-J
Josenli Un2 Chair n ?I)atO Donna Rote
of Comcnissions
3
