IV. OLD BUSINESS: <br />Mrs. Martindale recapped some interest in a holiday (specifically Christmas) event for the <br />entire family. She also articulated issue of community theatre with regard to attendance vs. <br />accommodations, venue, and profit. <br />V. COMMUNICATIONS: <br />Mrs. Martindale requested that the plays and play dates be posted on the North Olmsted City <br />web site. Mrs. Brown- suggested joining NEOPal.com- listing of a variety of classifieds, <br />casting calls. <br />VI. COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br />Mrs. Martindale indicated that the Dover Players Group plays would be as follows: <br />lst play- The Unexpected Guest, Agatha Christie. <br />2°a play- not chosen (dates are reserved) <br />3`d play- Death Trap <br />Dover Players had a board meeting on Tuesday, March 7, 2006 and Matt Solars is interested in <br />creating an elaborate set for Play (Death Trap) however they will be working with the <br />Landmarks Commission on all the details as nothing can be attached to wall in Old Town Hall. <br />She encouraged the commission to recommend a(mystery or drama) play that they may want <br />to see. The deadline to have things ready would be August. Mrs. Brown and Mr. Wahl <br />indicated that they would worlc on recommendations. <br />Mr. Kepperley announced the following North Olmsted High School events: <br />Eagles Nest Theater: Three 1-act Plays March lOth through 12tn <br />Bye Bye Birdie: Performed by High School students Apri128ththrough 30cn <br />High School Art Show will be talcing place May 4tn <br />The High School tries to advertise in the Westlife and on the City marquis in front of the Police <br />Departinent. Mr. Wahl suggested the Giant Eagle parking lot being used for advertisements. <br />Mrs. Brown announced the following Library event: <br />Starting March 9`" there would be a Student art exhibit which starts at 7:30 pm. <br />The commission would lilce to promote/advertise more of the cultural activities going on within <br />the city. The commission discussed Posting signs, photos and flyers of events around the city. <br />The commission discussed having a tent for displaying cultural events at the Home Coming <br />event. <br />YII.
