? <br />Mr. Schock proposed the buildings should meet the following criteria: (1) At least 70 yeaxs <br />old(2) The historic integrity of the exterior architectural form, materials and pictures of the <br />building have been maintained.(3). historical significance. <br />The application forms were reviewed and modified for certain required criteria, including the <br />time line and uniqueness of a proposed property. Mr. O'Malley suggested keeping an <br />electronic version that could be forwarded for the Commission for review. Mr. Schumann <br />suggested a resource list be created for residents to research their homes. The living history <br />should also be included, whatever might be known. Other information such as evidence of <br />the home's history, ownership; dates, stories, or anecdotes could be factored into the <br />application as part of the home's historical significance. If the home has been moved, please <br />include the original location. If the home has been moved, include the original location. It <br />was decided that the plaque must be visible from the public right of way and it must be <br />maintained as it was received, with no changes made to it. <br />Mrs. Lord feels that some of the homes on Butternut should be landmarked. Mrs. Lord <br />is also interested in Springvale as a Landmark location. <br />Mr. Schumann moved to award the Brown's a plaque for their circa 1850 home on 5978 <br />Columbia Road, seconded by Mr. Rerko, which was unanimously approved. <br />Mrs. Thogmartin moved to plaque the Porter house circa 1833 on 4277 Porter Road, <br />seconded by Mr. Schumann, which was unanimously approved. <br />Mr. Schumann mentioned the Frank's home, circa 1870, which the Commission will discuss <br />at the January meeting. Mr. Schock also mentioned Joe Bouman was interested in having his <br />home plaqued as well. <br />Mrs. Lord suggested having a small event / ceremony for the recipients of the awards. <br />2 <br />ADJOURNEMENT: Mr. Schock moved to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Mrs. <br />Davis, which was unanimously approved.
