Mr. Lasko questioned if any <br />commissioner felt that the loading dock area was warranted. All commissioners agreed that a <br />loading dock was not warranted therefore they would not require a loading dock. <br />J. Lasko moved to table Third Federal Savings of 26949 Lorain Road which consists of site <br />improvements including demolition of existing bank and constructing a new bank with the <br />following recommendations: 1). New landscaping plans submitted which accurately reflect <br />the proposed landscaping. 2). Undulating 3-foot mounds are to be incorporated along <br />Whitethorn and the 3-foot black aluminum fence should be properly listed and reflected on <br />the plan. 3). The recommendations made by Mr. Malone are to be incorporated and <br />reflected on new landscape plan (i.e. eliminating the use of ash trees on the site, Blue and <br />Alberta.Spruce trees used the caliper of the trees). 4). Request_ a sample of the proposed <br />metal;?roof as well as an asphalt shingle. 5). Any and all sidewalks along both Lorain Road <br />andr,W,.hitethorn Blvd which need repair or replacing in fact be repaired or replaced. 6). <br />Brickscape along Lorain Road is to be reflected on new plans. 7). The radius of the drives <br />are f6<meet code requirements as well as stormwater and illumination requirements. 8). If <br />easU'di -ive is eliminated the 2 farthest east parking spaces are to be eliminated however the <br />commission is open to the possibility of two drives along Lorain Road as long as the eitst curb <br />cut isi an'-exit right turn only. 9). The enclosed dumpster is to be briek with vinyl type gates <br />and th,e colors are to match the proposed building colors. 10). The applicant is encouraged to <br />continue to move forward without requiring variances. R. Bohlmann secondedthe?qiiotion <br />whieh.Wasunanimously approved. Mr:1Vlahoney voiced that he did not believe that an illuminated wall sign was needed along the; ' <br />soutli as,it faces residential homes. Mrs. Meredith voiced that a variance would be required. i?f the <br />east curb cut is used due to a directional sign being installed. Mr. Lasko requested the applicants <br />show requested signage to scale on the new plans to be submitted. VI. COMMUNICATIONS: <br />J. L'ask'o`moved to excuse the absence of M. Yager. M.
