Mr. Boss the owner to the west stated that he had no objections to the banks spilling onto his
site as he does not have enough light at night. There have been safety issues in the area due to
the lack of lights. He questioned were the dumpster area would be located as it was not shown
on the plans. Mr. Weber advised that any trash generated by the banlc is kept in a 4' x 4' x 5'
trash vault which is collected by a security system and destroyed. Mr. Malone requested that
the trees that will be saved be properly protected throughout construction. Mr. Weber said that
they would place safety barriers around the trees to make sure they are not damaged.
Mr. Mahoney felt that not only would depositors in the evening be comforted by the light but it
could detract possible vandals and the neighbor which would be most affected has no
objections to the amount of light the applicant is showing. Mr. Weber suggested that he would
go baclc and address possible ways to eliminate some of the lighting variances with the lighting
company. Mr. Laslco requested new plans be submitted for the commission to view before
going before the Board of Zoning Appeals.
J. Lasko moved to table Fifth Third Bank of 28856/28890 Loa-ain Road with the following
recommendations; 1) Submit new sign package showing correct signage i.e.
ground/monument, wall, any signs above the 4 drive-bays and or any directional signs
proposed. 2) New photometric plans to eliminate variances required for lighting. 3) The
irrigation as proposed is adequate and the commission approves the single access drave.
4) A lot consolidation is to be submitted and approved prior to any permits being
granted. When the applicant returns the cornmission will make their recomanendations
to the Board of Zoning Appeals. G. Malone seconded the motion which was unanimously
approved.
VI.
