•Mr. Boss the owner came forward to be sworn in and address the request. Mr. Boss indicated that he
was present to ask for a variance which was granted once but expired. Mrs. Sergi was concerned that a
fence should be placed along the back for safety reasons. Mr. Boss advised that if he placed a fence on
his lot then the pedestrians cutting through his lot would just start cutting through his abutting neighbors
lots. Mrs. Sergi felt that the variance was substantial enough to the neighbors that a fence should be
erected. Mr. Maloney advised that Planning & Design Commission recommended the variance be
granted.
J. Burke moved to grant Soss Family Limited Partnership of 28900 Lorain Road their request for
call on the motion J. Burke, M. Diver, T. Kelly, J. Maloney "yes" and N. Sergi "no". Variance
needed.
Mr. Frezel, with Watkins Lighting Service came forward to be sworn in and address the request. Mr.
Frezel reviewed that they were granted variances for the signage on the site in the past, but due to a11
new signs being used the variances are no longer valid. There would be 1 wall sign on the back of the
building and 1 in the front of the building. He assured the board that the directional sign would not say
Marriott it is strictly a directional sign. Mr. Burke questioned why new variances were required. Mr.
