<br />J. Maloney moved that Macy's Department Store of 100 Great Northern Mall use the M-4 Macy's wall signs
<br />for each wall sign and the PL-M-1-W awning signs as shown in package and approval is conditioned upon the
<br />Westfield master sign plan. The requested temporary signs expire in 60 days or no later than September 15,
<br />2006. The following variances are granted as amended:
<br />1. A variance for 2 additional wall signs on a unit, (code permits 1, applicant shows 3), section (1163.27
<br />(A))•
<br />2. A 2'.9 3/4" variance for a wall sign higher than code allows (north wall sign), (code permits 4', applicant
<br />shows 6'.9 3/4"), section (1163.27 (C)).
<br />3. A 2'.9 3/4" variance for a wall sign higher than code allows (west wall sign), (code permits 4', applicant
<br />shows 6'.9 3/4"), section (1163.27 (C)).
<br />4. A2'.9 3/4" variance for a wall sign higher than code allows (south wall sign), (code permits 4', applicant
<br />shows 6'.9 3/4"), section (1163.27 (C)).
<br />Variance requests 5 through 11 will be recalculated by the Building Department. T. Kelly seconded the

<br />Olmsted Plaza; 4570-4724 Great Northern Blvd: (WRD # 4)
<br />J. Burke moved to grant Olmsted Plaza of 4570-4724 Great Northern Blvd their request for variance
<br />(1123.12), which consists of streetscape renovations and that the following variances are granted:
<br />1. A variance for 3 additional ground signs, (code permits 5, applicant shows 8), section (1163.26 (A)).
<br />2. A variance for 2 ground signs within 200 feet of adjoining signs, (code requires 200 ft, applicant shows
<br />one @ 99 ft, and one @ 86 ft), section (1163.26 (A)).
<br />3. a 7 square foot variance for 2 ground signs larger than code allows, (code permits 65 sq ft, applicants
<br />shows 72 sq ft), section (1163.26 (w)).
<br />4. A variance for not having underground irrigation system, (code requires underground irrigation, applicant
<br />shows alternative method), section (1139.14).
<br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 sections: (1163.26 (A)), (1163.26 (w)) and (1139.14). T. Kelly
<br />seconded the motion, which was unanimously approved 5/4/06.

<br />J. Maloney moved to grant Taco Bell of 24247 Lorain Road their request for variance (1123.12), which
<br />consists of a new development and that the following variances are granted as amended and agreed upon:
<br />1. A 7 foot variance for building front yard setback, (code requires 75 ft, applicant shows 68 ft), section
<br />(1139.07).
<br />2. A 29 foot variance for building side yard setback, (code requires 50 ft, applicant shows 21 ft), section
<br />(1139.08).
<br />3. A variance for 2 parking spaces, (code requires 21, applicant shows 19), section (1161.05 (r)).
<br />9. A variance for 1 additional wall signs, (code permits 2, applicant shows 2) (see note), section (1163.27 (a)).
<br />Conditioned upon no other wall signs being installed on the building.
<br />11. A 2 foot 6 inch variance for signs extending 1 ft 6 inches above the top of wall, (code requires 12 inches
<br />below, applicant show 1' 6" above), section (1163.27 (d)).
<br />12. A 67 foot variance for ground signs to close to each other, (code requires 200 ft, applicant shows 133 ft),
<br />section (1163.26 (a)).
<br />13. A variance for A 2°d ground signs, (code permits 1, applicant shows 2), section (1163.26 (a)).
<br />17. A variance for deviating from chapter (1165.02(d2).
