Lasko moved to recommend the approval of the sign package for Building C of N. O. Town <br />Center at 24954 Brookpark Road with the following modifications: <br />Paragraph C. <br />l. The maximum letter height for major tenants 18,000 square foot or more is 5 foot and letter <br />heights for all other tenant shall not exceed 3 foot in height. <br />2. Major tenant signs can not exceed more than 50% of the length of the wall frontage and <br />minor tenants can not exceed more than 75% of the length of the wall frontage. <br />3. Tenants will be allowed a maximum of 2 wall si2ns if the tenant space is encompassed J?L- <br />exterior walls and can only consist of the tenant logo and/or name. <br />4. For tenants with two wall signs, one shall be located on the west elevation and one shall be <br />located on the south elevation of the building. <br />Paragraph D: Traffic control and directional signage will be provided by the landlord as <br />necessary but no tenant logo and/or names will be allowed on the signs. Final wording for <br />traffic control and directional signage will be addressed in more detail and shown on a site <br />plan by the developer. <br />Paragraph F will end at "method of mounting and location of transformers." <br />Paragraph G. G. Sign Permits: All drawings must bear the seal of a registered Architect in the <br />State of Ohio. Three sets of approved drawings will be submitted, 2 for the City of North <br />Olmsted and one for the sign fabricator. Tenant and sign fabricator is responsible to obtain all <br />necessary permits from the City of North Olmsted. <br />Paragraph G will then become Paragraph H. Installation and maintenance. <br />G. Malone seconded the motion, which was unanimously approved. <br />J. Lasko moved to recommend the Board of Zoning Appeals grant sign variances for N. O. <br />Town Center of 24954 Brookpark Road consistent with the sign package criteria for Building <br />C as modified. The commission recognizes that the criteria are unique and different from the <br />City sign code requirements. However the character and design of the site is such that it <br />justifies the landlord's criteria. M. Meredith seconded the motion, which was unanimously <br />approved. <br />VI. COMMUNICATIONS: <br />• OPC 2007 Planning & Zoning Commissioner's Workshop flyer <br />Ms. Wenger reviewed the workshop flyer with the commission but felt the November workshop in <br />Cleveland would be more beneficial for the commission. <br />J. Lasko moved to excuse the absence of Commissioner M. Mahoney. G. Malone seconded the <br />motion which was unanimously approved. <br />VII.
