,,: •?I Society with the possibility of establishing an account to raise funds for community historic <br />proj ects. <br />Another marker could be considered for the Springvale ballroom, to honor the Biddulph <br />family. A marker could be placed on the road in front of Springvale. Mr. Schumann <br />mentioned that Mrs. Scheff was donating $2,500.00 towards the cost of the Springvale <br />historic marker. The Commission agreed that they will continue to work towards <br />establishing these landmarks. <br />Living Historv Proiect <br />The SITES coordinators are interested in organizing a living history day in which students <br />would interview elderly residents of North Olmsted to create an oral history for the city. The <br />SITES students could update the history on an annual basis. Mr. Schumann suggested <br />speaking to local newspapers and putting information on the City website for people to <br />contact the organization to share their experiences in North Olmsted. Mr. Sebring was <br />interested in a grant for the project, which Mr. Schumann was interested in pursuing. Mr. <br />Schumann was interested in having the SITES students working on more projects in the City <br />of North Olmsted. <br />V. COMIVIUNICATIONS: <br />Memberships <br />The Commission reviewed their subscriptions and memberships and concurred that they will <br />renew their membership with the Cleveland Restoration Society and the Olmsted Historical <br />Society. The will also remain on the list for The Ohio Historical Society. <br />VI. COMMITTEE REPORT <br />VII.
