Mr. Schumann
suggested this matter be tabled until the November meeting. He noted a discrepancy concerning
the age of the home. Mr. Schock would like to hear from Ms. Palumbo the stories, legends and
history to which she refers in her letter.
Mr. Lasko moved, seconded by Ms. Davis, to table the request for a historic recognition
plaque made by Jane Palumbo for 25684 Kennedy Ridge Road, PPN 236-13-013, for
consideration at the next Landmarks Commission meeting, which was unanimously
approved.
Landmarks Commission Annual Report
Mr. Schumann offered to work on lists and descriptions of specific projects based on the Annual
Report Ideas list. He will be prepared to submit his notes at the November meeting. Along with
statistical numbers from previous years he would like to present details of projects accomplished
in both 2007 and 2008. Mr. Lasko commended the Landmarks Commission for their good work
on the Biddulph Trail project. He feels several positive precedents were set. Various ideas for
the annual report were discussed including new markers placed, the maintenance of existing
markers, and the expanding number of project partnerships with the City administration, the
North Olmsted City Schools, and various local and state organizations.
Concerning goals for 2009, Mr. Schumann said one of the main goals is to complete and submit
the Certified Local Government application. He would also like to raise money for an Ohio
Historical Marker for Frostville Museum even though it would be placed on Metroparks
