Historical Plaque for 30095 Lorain Road <br />Ms. Davis feels a plaque should be prepared for the home at 30095 Lorain Road. The property is <br />in the process of being sold through Howard Hanna Smyth Cramer. Information on the home <br />was distributed for review. A location for mounting the plaque was discussed as this lot is <br />wooded with few open spaces. Ms. Davis will approach the current owners about the possibility. <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br />Letter from Ardella Chester <br />Mr. Thomas read to the committee a thank you letter received from Ardella Chester of 23876 <br />Mastick Road, for providing a historical plaque for her home. <br />Biddulph Trail Letter <br />Mr. Schumann found a letter in his door from Mr. Bob Sharp of Butternut Ridge Road regarding <br />the Biddulph Trail project. A concern of some residents is that the street will become a four-lane <br />highway. Mr. Sharp is also working to organize a neighborhood association on Butternut Ridge <br />Road. Ms. Davis reviewed the circumstances surrounding an earlier attempt to do the same. Mr. <br />Orlowslci shared his knowledge of land availability in the area and future possibilities. <br />Event Invitation <br />Mr. Schock reported that Steve McQuillen has invited Landmarks Commission members to a <br />party on Friday, September 19, 2008. The event will be held at his restored farmhouse on <br />Detroit Road, which used to be part of an 3000 acre farm. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Mr. Thomas moved, seconcled by Mr. Schock, to adjourn the meeting, which was <br />u ' ously approved.
