. <br />4\ <br />whether the purchase was to establish an access point for entry however Mr. DeLorenzo said that <br />his property already has access to Butternut Ridge. <br />The Commission discussed using a home inspector to review the home's condition. Mr. <br />DeLorenzo said the original home is solid but the additions have problems. Mr. Schumann <br />agreed with Mr. De Lorenzo's assessment. Mr. Rerko did not think a home inspection would <br />change the desire to move the structure, as the home could be repaired in the process. Mr. <br />Schumann stated that the additions will be eliminated if the home is moved. <br />Mr. Thomas suggested tabling the matter until the Commission views the City lot in question. <br />Mr. Schumann would lilce more committee meetings with the applicant. <br />NTr. Thomas moved to table Bidclulph T'rail until the April meeting, seconded by Mrs. <br />Davis, which was unanimously approved, 8-0. <br />Mr. Rerko questioned the sale of the vacant lot and Mr. O'Malley said that the council will need <br />to approve that sale. He said that it could be segregated if Council will consider it. Ms. Wenger <br />said the applicant should pursue a certificate of appropriateness for the home at the City property <br />as a matter of process. The City is working on appraising the property. <br />Stearns Markep <br />Mr. Dubowski created drawings for the stones to be placed around the historic marker at Fire <br />Station #2. The low wall will be comprised of the sandstone blocks from the Stearns home. <br />The Commission recommended adding a capstone which would help with weathering. <br />Mr. Herwick moved, seconded by 1VIr. Rerko, to approve the 93 drawing of the semi circle <br />formation as da-afted by 1VIr. Dubovvski with a eapstone, which was unanimously approved. <br />COMMiJNICATI01`1S <br />25896 Butternut Ridlze (Biddulph House) <br />Mr. Orlowski stated that the Safety Department had discussed the status of the property with Ms. <br />Wenger. Mr. Orlowski has not received any update so far and has requested information from <br />Building Department for the citations on the property. Ms. Davis stated that the property owners <br />have been difficult to contact and the agent did not have a key to the property, it seems the <br />owners were hoping to sell the property before they have to do anything. Mr. Schumann noted <br />that a letter from the Commission or a phone call might be more productive. Mr. Rerko asked <br />Mr. O'Malley how the city moves forward in this situation and Mr. O'Malley said the Law <br />Department pursues the complaints, citations and zoning violations. Assistant Law Director <br />Heyward has identified the property and has encouraged investigation. <br />Resolution No. 2008-21 <br />Mr. Thomas filed the application and material for the Pealce Farm Marker. He footnoted the <br />annotated bibliography, photographed the location and provided a map. The deadline for the <br />grant is April 1, 2008. The material was put in the mail that day.
