Mr. Dawes said the area would not be closed in but outdoor heaters would be used <br />during winter months. <br />Councilman Barlcer said he finds it offensive when smokers are at the entrance of businesses. <br />The Police Chief said on average one stop a week from the police due to complaints are made. <br />Complaints range from noise, assault, alarms, welfare checlc, altercations and disorderly conduct. <br />There should be no patio behind the building. Heavy buffering raises safety issues for the police <br />officers visibility. There should be no spealcers outside as noise is already an issue. The Dantios <br />said noise levels are quite high and the police are not helpful. In general she is against the <br />request to have an outdoor patio. Mr. Dawes said he is adamant about lceeping the back door <br />closed to minimize the noise and would not have speakers outside. Mr. Lasko said the <br />commission would place the stipulation that no speakers will be outside and the new plans are to <br />show parlcing-lot striping, outdoor tables, downspout being tied into the drains properly, planters <br />to comply with Mr. Malone requests and the cement cut will move to the nearest control joint. <br />Mr. Lasko moved, seconded by Mrs. Meredith, to table COMS08-0008: Slam Jams of <br />24108 Lorain Road so that a new plan can be submitted reflecting the commission's <br />conditions which was unanimously approved 7-0. <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br />Building Department Report: Apri12008 <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />The meeting was adj ourned at 10:45 pm. <br />J J.
