COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />Dover Players Update <br />Ms. Martindale reported auditions for The Children's Hour will conclude this evening and <br />rehearsals begin on Monday, June 8. The Dover Player's scholarship was awarded to Ryan <br />Wolf; the Honors Reception went well. Ms. Martindale said a man (name unknown) submitted <br />to Todd Evangelista a musical he wrote for review and comment. It is set in an elegant gym, <br />features various characters and includes 28 original songs and lyrics. Linda and Mark Little have <br />been researching local theaters suitable for performing the musical however the author believes <br />Old Town Hall would be appropriate. This musical may be scheduled for 2010, and would be a <br />very different style of performance than has been offered in the past. Greg Lavalle, who recently <br />played Mr. Watson in The 3 Gems of Sherlock Holmes, has also written a play. Ms. Martindale <br />found it darlc, grim, dramatic, long, and very unique, offering two different endings from which <br />the audience can choose. The play requires a stage that has two separate areas. Mark and Linda <br />Little found a theater that has a center stage that splits into two halves. Mark and Linda will <br />produce this play. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Mr. Yustick announced that Deby Cowdin has requested to join the Cultural Activities <br />Commission.
