r <br />Centennial of Villalie of North Olmsted and City Schools <br />Mr. Kepperley suggested the high school art class participate in the Village Centennial but the <br />class has a prior commitment creating banners for cax dealerships. He hopes the schools will be <br />involved in some way. <br />COMMITTEE 1ZEPOIaTS <br />Dover Players Update <br />Ms. Martindale reports that practice and preparation for 3 Gems of Sherlock Holmes is underway. <br />The three plays are the Blue Carbuncle, the Beryl Coronet, and the Mazarin Stone. The <br />performance will run a little over two hours. The recorded performance dates for Children's <br />Hour and Artful Murder have not changed. <br />Local Arts Events <br />Mr. Kepperley announced the North Olmsted High School is presenting Thoroughly Modern <br />Millie May 1, 2, and 3. The Olmsted Falls High School is presenting the same play a couple <br />weelcs earlier. The Dover Players and possibly Ms. Martindale's company, Acting Out, will <br />purchase advertising space in the program. The Cultural Activities Commission members will <br />also consider sharing the cost for space in the program. <br />Mr. Kepperley and several other North Olmsted residents are performing at the Lorain County <br />Community College Stoclcard Center the evening of Saturday, March 28. In recognition of the <br />200th anniversary of Joseph Haydn's death they will be performing Haydn's Lord Nelson Mass <br />with the 120-voice Civic Chorus.
