Mr. Schumann and Ms. Davis suggested additional benefits provided by the <br />national registry could open the way for the Historic District to be enlarged to include Mastick <br />Road, Porter Road, and old Columbia Road. More historic homes could then be protected. Mr. <br />Schumann encouraged other members of the Commission to contribute ideas for a CLG grant. <br />Cemeterv Iinprodement Fundraising Ideas <br />Although Mr. Schumann plans to schedule a cemetery improvement fundraiser at Frostville in <br />2010, he intends to wait until the end of the year before proposing the idea to the members of the <br />Olmsted Historic Society. Due to this year's busy schedule he does not feel the time is right to <br />suggest additional events. No new ideas were presented. <br />Second 2009 Landmarks Commission Sneaker Event <br />Mr. Schumann suggested asking Steve McQuillen or a representative of the Cleveland <br />Restoration Society to speak to the Commission on the benefits of and procedure for applying for <br />national registry of the Historic District. The Olmsted Historical Society may be able to cover <br />costs, if necessary. Mr. Schock will speak to Mr. McQuillen on the Commission's behalf. <br />COIVIMUNICATI0N5 <br />Ohio Association of Historical Societies & Museums 2009 Annual Meeting & Conference <br />Mr. Schumann acknowledged the flyer advertising the annual meeting and conference, which is <br />available for Commission members interested in attending. <br />Notification from Schools concerning Certificate of Appropriateness requests <br />For the record Mr. Schock noted the e-mail to Director Wenger from Treasurer Matson dated <br />September 3, 2009 requesting the COA requests be tabled until the Landmarks Commission <br />meeting in November 2009. <br />ADJOUR1iTMENT <br />Mr. Rerko's, Mr. Lasko's and Mr. Thomas' absence is excused.
