Commissioners discussed ininimizing spealcing time to <br />tlu-ee ininutes when there are large audiences with the ability to grarit extensions. Ms. Wenger <br />said the agenda could be easily amended to reflect the change. <br />Committee Assi2nments <br />Ms. Wenger reviewed that the Zoning Committee and Planning Special Projects Committee had <br />been active in 2008 and provided a handout regarding their responsibilities. As in 2008, she <br />i-ecommended not filling the Education Cominittee due to the amount of work in the other <br />committees. Commissioners discussed whether or not they wanted to brealcdown assignments by <br />project and the possibility of designating an alternate. <br />Mr. Laslco questioned if the 2008 Special Projects and Zoning Coinmittee members wanted to <br />continue to be on the committees each of which voiced they wished to remain on their assigned <br />cominittees. Mr. Cotner said he would lilce to be the alternate on the Zoning Committee. <br />Mr. Lasko moved, seconded by Mr. Malone, to appoint Mrs. Mereclith, Ms. Williamson, <br />Mr. Bohlmann to the 2009 Zoning Committee with Mr. Cotner serving as an alternate <br />which was unanimously, approved 7-0. <br />Mr. Lasko moved, seconded by Mr. Sohlmann to appoint Mr. Malone, Mrs. Meredith, Mr. <br />Rerlco to the Planning Special Projects Committee which was unanimously, approved 7-0. <br />Ms. Wenger encouraged Commissioners to submit ideas to her regarding planning or zoning <br />topics, such as suUmitted by one of the BZA members. Mr. Laslco noted that it was clear in Ms. <br />Rudolph's note that the suggestions were her personal recommendations and she did not speak <br />on behalf of the entire Board. <br />COIVIMUNICA'TIONS <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />The meeting was adjourned at 8:20 pm <br />? oloo9 <br />J J.
