I <br />Mr. Gareau noted that the size of the current window'signs was such that it required a permit if <br />not removed. <br />Mr. Lopez said he had no objections to the request as there are two separate stores and the total <br />square footage of all three signs is less than what is allowed for one. All board members agreed. <br />Ms. Budolph said the applicant's predicament could not be resolved any other way as the <br />business requires its own recognition. <br />Ms. Rudolph moved, seconded by Mrs. Bellido, to grant Kaplan Furniture of 24869 Lorain <br />Road a variance for one (1) additional wall sign on a building where two (2) exist, which <br />was unanimously approved 4-0. <br />1VIrs. Sergi moved, seconded by Ms. Rudolph, to excuse the absence of IVIaureen Diver <br />which was unanimously approved 4-0. <br />Mr. Gareau asked if the board would still like to have a caucus prior to their March meeting to <br />address the proposed changes to their rules and application.
