Appeals grant CMS10-21 McDonald's of 27322 Lorain Road the variances as written <br />which was approved 6-0. <br />Mrs. Meredith moved, seconded by 1VIr. Rerko, to approve the proposal for CMS10-21 <br />McDonald's of 27322 Lorain Road with the followfng conditions: <br />1. Solid yellow coloi•ed awnings are to be used as shown on sheet A2.0 received 8/11/10. <br />2. New landscaping plan will include evergreens in the center area. The center area <br />plantings will be duplicated on both sides of the driveways. <br />3. The existing east drive exit sign is to be moved to the west side of drive. <br />The motion was approved 6-0. <br />CMS10-27 North Olmsted Emergencv Food Cupboard; 26272 Butternut Rid2e Road, <br />Request consists of alterations to existing home and site improvements. <br />Ms. Wenger said improvements for the existing building went before Landmarks Commission to <br />receive a certificate of appropriateness. She reviewed the exterior and interior changes to be <br />made which includes new siding, windows, removing some doors and replacing others. The <br />front east entrance door will be a door which will accommodate the monthly deliveries. The roof <br />is in good condition and will remain and the detailed constniction plans are still being worlced <br />OUt. Oll Al1gllSt 2, 2010 a community meeting was held and there was a lot of positive feedback <br />fiom the residents. <br />Mr. O'Malley said the Commission's review is required by charter and they should review the <br />plan as they do with any other plan. Mrs. Meredith asked if there was a landscaping plan or <br />more detailed site plans and Ms. Wenger said there would be a landscaping plan created. Mr. <br />Bohlmann said that if they are to review the plan as with all applicants then there is not enough <br />information provided for a proper review. Mrs. Meredith agreed and aslced if the matter could be <br />tabled until more detailed plans were received. Mr. Bohlmann aslced if the use was changing as <br />the home is in a residential neighborhood and it won't be used as a residence. Mr. Parry <br />expressed concern about traffic flow in and out of the site, particularly due to the current lane <br />configuration as the road crosses J-480. <br />Ms. Britt said she lived next door and she believes that there should be a turning lane and asked <br />if the detailed plans would return so she could see the details of what will be done. She aslced if <br />the utility pole will be moved. Ms. Wenger said that the driveway would be moved but not sure <br />if the pole could be relocated. The Commission should feel free to table the review until more <br />detailed plans are availaUle.
