PLANNING & DESIGN COMMISSION <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />MINUTES FOR MAY 26, 2010 <br />ROLL CALL <br />Mr. Laslco called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m. in Council Chambers and led the Pledge of <br />Allegiance. <br />Present: John Laslco, Jim Cotner, Greg Malone, Don Rerlco <br />Absent: Melissa Meredith, Robert Parry, Ralph Bohlmann <br />Staff: Assistant Law Director Bryan O'Malley, City Engineer Petro DiFranco, Building <br />Commissioner Dale Mitchell, Clerlc of Commissions Donna Rote <br />REVIEW AND CORREC'I'ION OF MINUTES <br />Mr. Lasko moved, seconded by 1VIr. Rerko, to approve the April 14, 2010 minutes as <br />amended showing Mr. Cotner's absence was excused, which was approved 4-0. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />CMS10-09: Snrinter Vans of NO; 28595 Lorain Road: <br />Representatives: Denver Broolcer and Brendan Grady, Forum Architects <br />Mr. DiFranco recommended the plat be approved as submitted. Mr. O'Malley noted the <br />conservation easement area provided on the plat was being addressed by City Council and <br />requested the commission grant approval contingent upon Council's acceptance of the easement <br />prior to the plat's recording. Mr. Broolcer reviewed that they received prior approval for the <br />development of the site which was contingent upon lot consolidation and a conservation <br />easement. Mr. Laslco commended the applicants for the standard of worls in which the project <br />had been submitted and noted it was the last step in the approval process. <br />Mr. Lasko moved, secondeci by Mr. Malone, to approve the lot consolidation of CMS10-09: <br />Sprinter Vans of NO of 28595 Lorain Road of PPN 234-24-007 (2.3605 acres) and PPN 234- <br />24-006 (1.7100 acres) into one parcel (4.0705 acres) contingent upon Council's acceptance <br />of the conservation easement, which was approved 4-0. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />CMS10-13: Clearwire: 25151 Brookpark Road: <br />Representative: John Sindyla, Clearwire <br />Mr. Mitchell said drawings show 5 non-functioning antennas and 3 microwave dishes to be <br />removed froin the penthouse. One antenna and a microwave dish on an antenna sled at the <br />western side of the rooftop will require detailed plans. There is no screening shown for the sled <br />and the proposed antenna panel is 7 feet from the centerline above the roof line but its height is <br />not shown.
