Mr. Malone aslced if the <br />landscaping issues were part of approval and Mr. Mitchell said no just for occupancy all property <br />issues are required to be resolved and noted the site was well maintained. Mr. Thomas said there <br />are five points of egress to handle the adults coming and leaving the site. Most of the clients will <br />be transported through their service or care givers who drop off and piclc them up. Mr. Parry <br />questioned public access and Mr. Thomas said there are sidewallcs and walking paths throughout <br />the site. Mrs. Meredith said that it is a great opportunity for the center and the city for North <br />Olmsted. Mr. Thomas said the County recommended North Olmsted for its ideal location to I- <br />480, the turnpilce, and I-90. There may be evening opportunities for social events and classes. <br />Most centers do not have evening and Saturday hours so they are trying to fill that need as well. <br />Mr. Laslco aslced if vehicles would be parlced at the site over night and Mr. Thomas said if a <br />vehicle is lcept at the site it would be kept in the garage which is at the site now. They have 26 <br />vehicles for transportation and there would only be minimal vehicles throughout the day. <br />The commission reviewed the criteria standards A through F and found that the proposed use <br />would in fact have no adverse impacts and would be a compatible use for the location. The issue <br />of site conditions will be addressed by the applicant. The commission did not feel any <br />conditions of approval were warranted. <br />Mr. Lasko moved, seconded by Mr. Malone, to recommend City Council approve the <br />conditional use perrnit for CMS10-14 VVelcome Iiouse of 27200 Lorain Road which was <br />approved 5-0. <br />COM1VIiJNICATIOIV <br />The City was awarded a grant from the Ohio EPA for $196,028 to reconstruct the city hall <br />parlcing lot with a bioswale and permeable pavers. <br />Please fill out the City Identity questionnaire if you were not able to attend the community <br />meeting on May 20. <br />Relay for Life is taking place June 19, starting at 12:00 pm through June 20, at 8:00 am at the <br />North Olmsted High School Track. <br />1VIr.
