1-1- % <br />LANDMARKS COMMISSION <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />MEETING MINUTES FOR JANUARY 10, 2011 <br />ROLL CALL <br />Mr. Schumann called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. in Council Chambers and Mr. Dubowski <br />led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />Present: Paul Schumann, Don Rerko, David Neville, Albert Richner, Mark Mahoney, Tom <br />Dubowski, Maryellen Davis <br />Absent: Dale Thomas <br />Staff: Director of Planning and Development Kimberly Wenger, Assistant Director of <br />Law Bryan O'Malley, Clerk of Commissions Donna Rote <br />ELECT CHAIR AND VICE CHAIR <br />Mr. Rerko nominated Mr. Schumann for Landmarks Commission Chair, which was <br />seconded by Mr. Neville and unanimously approved. <br />Mr. Schumann nominated Mr. Thomas for Landmarks Commission Vice Chair, which was <br />seconded by Mrs. Davis and unanimously approved. <br />REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES <br />Mrs. Davis moved, seconded by Mr. Neville, to approve the December 13, 2010 minutes as <br />corrected, which was approved 7-0. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />2010 Annual Report <br />Mr. Schumann said the draft report was received and asked if there were any additions or <br />corrections. Commissioners said the report was well written and did not require changes. Ms. <br />Wenger asked if the commission would like the report sent to anyone besides city council and <br />the commission requested it be posted on the city website. <br />Mr. Richner moved, seconded by Mr. Mahoney, to adopt the 2010 Annual Report as <br />written which passed 7-0. <br />Historic District Design Guidelines <br />Ms. Wenger said the office received photos of Mr. Schumann's home for the brochure but the <br />other home address on Butternut Ridge was not clear. The commission reviewed an aerial and <br />noted the correct home is 26405 Butternut Ridge Road. Mr. Schumann will contact owners to <br />see if there are before and after photos available which could be used in the guidelines.
