Mr. Koeth questioned Ms. Kummer if she had <br />talked to her Councilman's, Mr. Limpert. Mr. Koeth strongly suggested that her councilmen <br />was the one the she need to contact. Ms. Kummer questioned what will it take for Giant <br />Eagle to go somewhere else. She then ask Mr. Papandreas what they could do to get someone <br />else in there. Mr. Papandreas indicated they could have put a theatre in there but felt it was <br />wrong for the area. Ms. Oring indicated that she indeed wrote the minutes and she is not <br />perfect and could have misunderstood something but when the motion was made it was done <br />verbatim.. Oring indicated she would defend herself all the deed restrictions go down the <br />drain. Ms. Oring indicated she will defend herself she quoted Mr. Papandreas they would <br />honor the deed restrictions. NIr. Dubelko indicated that he has sat here advising the Planning <br />Corrunission for seventeen years and if Ms. Oring put something in the minutes it was true as <br />far as he was concerned. The minutes are not in question. Paul Miller councilman at large <br />indicated to the audience he appalled Ms. Oring integrity. He indicated that Giant Eagle is an <br />emotional mater of safety for neighborhood and living behind the plaza can be emotional. Mr. <br />Miller also noted that Giant Eagle was suppose to have a representative here to answer <br />questions and concerns and urged the Planning Commission to recess until they have <br />representative here to answer questions. He indicated that the residents deserve answers to <br />their questions. Giant Eagle will be responsible to themselves when they come in. Ms. Becks <br />indicated she was upset the Planning Commission was only asking a couple of questions. She <br />also questioned will they have power outages and who does she call when trucks are not <br />suppose to be making deliveries. Ms. Beck also indicated she had tried to contract Giant Eagle. <br />Mr. Dubelko indicated that if a noise violation occurs during the day, call the building <br />department. Mr. Papandreas takes offense to the comments made <br />about him and wanted to keep a level head. Mr. Papandreas indicated he nor Mr. Cory were <br />questioning Ms. Orings integrity as he knew her to be an honorable person as they were <br />misquoted by the newspaper. Mr. Papandreas indicated he has tried to work with the city <br />donating land and light indicators and they have tried to deal with all the concerns of the <br />Planning Commission and residents. In answer to Mr. Griswalds question about truck traiic, it <br />will come from Lorain Road. They will try to enforce the type of truck traffic they have. He <br />indicated they have better landscaping and mounding than the Criant Eagle in Rocky River. <br />They will try to deal with all the issues that are brought up. Mr. Papandreas indicated until the <br />Planning Commission meeting none of the residents had complained to him about Circuit City. <br />He noted that he had contacted Circuit City about the complaints. Mr. Papandreas said they <br />have been sitting with center for two years and in their opinion a grocery store is best for this <br />center. With respect to cleanliness they will try to keep the center clean and will keep trash in <br />the compactor as promised. Mr. Papandreas indicated comments about Giant Eagle not caring <br />is not true as they gave Mr. Papandreas the authority to address all the neighbors concerns. He <br />indicated they do have building permits in hand they haven't been posted because construction <br />has not been started.
