`
construction stated we have contacted the fire department concerning the size and we are way
under their limitations plus they are above ground storage not underground storage and they will
be in pre-cast tanks. Mr. Tallon asked what is the propose of the covered storage on the ma.in
building. Mr. Youngman to keep equipment out of the weather. Mr. Brennan stated were would
your site trailers or field offices go on this site. Mr. Youngman stated we have property in Avon
and they will be stored there, the gravel area in the back will have some storage which we will have
a privacy fence around, but the biggest reason for the gravel is because of the heavy equipment
veihicles which will chew up concrete and asphalt you can't keep them on a hard suiface, right
now we have close to $2,000,000.00 dollars worth of equipment stored outside all winter long and
it is not good for the equipment. Mr. Tallon stated your storage area is 22' ft. high. Mr. Cerny
stated the main building has a high eve side on the front which is 22' ft. high, but by the time the
slope ends on the storage side it is about 20' ft. high, I don't think we have established a height on
the north east shed but it wont be higher then 22' ft. high. Mr. Tallon do you have a site plan for
the back of the property so I can see what backs up to this lot. Mr.Cerny stated there is a
easement for CEI that goes across the back north side of the property. Mr. Mc Dermott stated
they are proposing an open retention basin which we can not allow. Mr. Youngman stated I had a
meeting with my mechanical engineer today and he verified that to me so we will go underground.
Mr. Mc Dermott stated I have talked to him today on the phone so I know that it is in the process
but it does have to go in the ground, and that is our only comment on this at. this time. Mr. Asseff
stated what kind of traffic pattern will you have with your trucks going in and out of the site. Mr.
Cemy stated primarily the idea would to bring most of the trailers on to the back were the cul de-
sac is and allow them to drive through the building or to drive around the building depending on
what they will be getting, vehicles exiting will be coming back out through the front south west
parking lot, if they are going to the office azea which would only be subcontractors, they will use
the south east entrance. Mr. Asseff stated I would assume that when you.r equipment comes back
you are washing it down. Mr. Youngman stated we have a wash bay on the south east side, and
we akeady have the 500 gallon oil separator tank. Mr. Tallon stated thank you that is what I was getting at the oil will be separated, Mr. McDermott please check that when the cirawings come
through, it is not that we don't trust you I just want to make sure that Mr. McDermott is aware of '
it. Mr. Asseff stated what are you going to use the warehouse for. Mr. Youngman stated basically
to store smaller equipment, and materials I can show you a list of what will be stored there if you
would like. Mr. Asseff inquired will you have a crane in the warehouse. Mr. Youngman stated we
will have a chip crane, not to fill trucks but to mix. Mr. Tallon stated what type of power source
are you going to have for the build.ing, and will you have a power station or transformer on site.
Mr. Youngman stated there will be a transformea on site it will be d.irectly behind the office. Mr.
Tallon inquired will you have outdoor lighting. Mr. Cerny stated I'm sure we will, but we don't
have any drawings at this time once we do we will get that information to you. Mr. Tallon stated
we are going to send you on to Architectural review board 4/22/98 and to Board of zoning appeals
on 5/7/98 and by that time you should have your lighting plans submitted and then by the time you
come back here on 5/12/98 we can look at them Mr. Youngman mqu.ired about signage
requirements. Mr. Tallon stated there is a limitation to the number of signs the code covers that
information.
