ramp and other things that the youngsters much younger then us like to become involved with, I
feel it is a good project and I commend Mrs. Thomas for taking the initiative to come £orward and
make a presentation thank you. Mr. Tallon thanked 1VYayor Musial, and stated this project has
been discussed for 15 years that I know of and it has never gotten off the ground, at one time we
had t-wo neighbors that wanted to build them in their yards that we had to address, I think in the
past it has always been the money ffactor and the city just doesn't have the fwnds to do that, I
don't have any objections to a skate board park if we can find a good location for it, and we get
the cooperation of everyone for the bu.ffering of noise and if the Recreation Coiximission can best
iYnplement the project to be in a location that would be easy for them to operate, and maintain, I
assume the City would take on the responsibility of the maintenance. Mayor Musial stated yes.
Mr. Tallon asked if tlaere were any further questions and or coxnments and thanked everyone for
comuig.
VI. COMl\iIITTEE REPORTS: No items.
VII. MNOR CHANGES: No items.
VIII. NEW BUSINESS: No items.
IX. OLD BUSINESS: No items.
X. ADJOURNMENT: K. O' Rourke moved to excuse the absents of R. Koeth, T. Manning, and
D. Cameron-Alston. The motion was seconded by T. Tallon and unanimously approved.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:30 P.M.
