4 <br />Y' ir <br />CTTY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />"TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCEl" <br />BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS <br />MINUTES - JUNE 4, 1998 <br />7:30 P.M. <br />I. ROLL CALL: <br />Chairman Gomersall called the meeting to order at 7:40 p.m. <br />PRESENT: <br />Chairman Richard Gomersall, Commissioners J. Konold, W. Kremzar, and J. Maloney. <br />ALSO PRESENT: Law Director Gareau, Assistant Building Commissioner Rymarczyk, <br />and Assistant Clerk of Commissions Rote. <br />II. DISPOSITION OF MINUTES: J. Konold moved to approve the May 7,1998 minutes. <br />The motion was seconded by, J. Maloney and unanimously approved. <br />Chairman Gomersall advised that each case would be judged on the physical situation particular <br />to itselt so that in no way is a judgment rendered considered to be a general policy judgment <br />affecting properties and like situations elsewhere. <br />Robert Rotheram, 3931 Pine Circle , <br />Request for variance (1123.12). <br />In case the rear lot line is not parallel the average depth shall be used, fifty (50') feet is required. <br />Average depth is 36' plus or minus 14' variance required. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section <br />1135.08 (B-2). <br />Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties before the board. The oath was adviinistered to <br />Robert Rotheram. Mr. Gomersall reviewed the variance being asked for, and inquired if Mr. <br />Rotheram was aware of the letter the board members had received from lus neighbor. The letter <br />stated he would li.ke to see the work done, and complemented Mr. Rotheram for the work he has <br />done cleaning up the property. Note: no letter was found in this file. Mr. Gomersall stated he <br />had no further questions and asked if there were any further questions from the board. No <br />further questions were asked. <br />J. Dostal Funeral Services. 29369 Lorain Road <br />Request Special permit (1123.11). Request a special permit to add to a non-conforming <br />building. Special permit required Ord. 90-125, Section 1165.02. <br />Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties before the board.. The oath was ad.miuistered to <br />John Mazze. Mr. Mazze stated when the two structures were built the lot was zoned for <br />residential and it is now zoned for business use. The south west build.ing on the site extends over <br />the 10'ft. side yard setback requirement. We will not be adding on to the front north east <br />structure, the addition will be added to the back south west building which does not meet today's <br />code requirements.
