Mr. Mazze stated the heating and cooling unit itself will be inside and the condenser will <br />be outside on the west front comer of the new addition. <br />J. Maloney moved to grant Dostal Funeral Services, 29369 Lorain Road, a special permit to add <br />to a non-conforming building. Special permit required Ord. 90-125, Section 1165.02. <br />The motion was seconded by W. Kremzar, aud unanimously approved. Special Permit Granted. <br />3. FLIM and Chris Moore 3957 Evelyn Drive <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request 5 foot rear setback variance for proposed additiou. <br />Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1165.02 (b-1). Also request a Special Permit (1123.11) to <br />enlarge this non-conforming building. Special permit required Ord. 90-125, Section 1165.02. <br />Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties before the board. The oath was adzninistered to <br />Mike Meszes. Mr. Gomersall reviewed the variances. Mr. Meszes stated we will be addihg a <br />second floor to a non conforming building. There will not be any addition to the main floor of <br />the house. The existing main floor of the house does not meet today's code requirements. Nlr. <br />Kremzar asked what would be done with the existing clumney. Mr. Meszes stated we have two <br />options, the first would be to pull the chimuey down and do a`v" vent or go to a direct vent, and <br />we are not sure wluch the client will chose yet. <br />W. I{remzar moved to grant I?'illary aud Cluis Moore, of 3957 Evelyn Drive a 5 foot rear setback <br />variance for proposed addition. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1165.02 (b-1). ALso the <br />5pecial Permit (1123.11) to enlarge tlus non-conforming building. Special pervut required Ord. <br />90-125, Section 1165.02. The motion was seconded by J. Maloney, and unauimously approved. <br />Variance Grantecl <br />4. Szarka Financial Management 29691 Lorain Road <br />Request for variance (1123.12). . <br />Request the following signage variances: <br />1) a variance to install a second ground sign (1163.12 - B); <br />2) a variance for location of sign in prohibited triangular area (1163.12 - B);and <br />3) a 16 foot 4 inch setback variance for location of ground sign (1163.12 - B). <br />Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1163.12 (B). <br />Chairmvi Gomersall called all interested parties before the board. The oath was administered to <br />Mr. Les Szarka, and David Jarvis. Mr. Gomersall questioned the size of the ground sign that <br />would be placed in the back of the property to direct people into the house. Mr. Jarvis stated the <br />sign will be 2'ft. X 4'ft. and will be mounted directly on the wall. Mr. Gomersall questioned the <br />location and size of the sign designated for the front of the establislnnent. Mr. Jarvis stated I'm <br />not sure of the exact measurement it will be placed in the center of the landscaped area. Mr. <br />Rymarczyk suggested the over all size of the new sign would be 1"ft. smaller then the existing <br />sign that is there now. No further questions were asked. <br />J. Konold moved to grant Szarka Financial Management 29691 Lorain Road, a Request for <br />variance (1123.12). (1) a variance to install a second ground sign (1163.12 - B); (2) a variance <br />for location of sign in prohibited triangular area (1163.12 - B);and (3) a 16 foot 4 inch setback <br />variance for location of ground sign (1163.12 - B). Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1163.12 <br />(B). The motion was seconded by W. Kremzar and unanimously approved. Variances Granted.
