? Yy <br />i <br />J. Molony moved to grant Jeff Miluer, 27277 Marcie Lane a Request for variance (1123.12). <br />Request a seven (7') foot rear setback variance to erect a shed. Violation of Ord. 90-125, <br />Section 1135.02 (D-4). The motion was seconded by J. Konold and uuanimously approved <br />Variance Granted. <br />11. Halleen Kia, 27788 Lorain Road <br />Request for variance (1123.12). <br />Request the following variances for location of pylon sign: <br />1) a five (5') foot setback variance from the right-of-way (1163.12 -B); aud <br />2) a tweuty-two (22') foot side yard setback variance (l I63-12 -B) <br />Note: Both existing free standing signs are to be removed prior to installing new pylon sign if <br />approved. <br />I <br />Chairmau Gomersall called all interested parties before the board. The oath was aclininistered `to <br />Ron Kula. Mr. Gomersall reviewed the variance and asked where the sign would be placed. Mr. <br />Kula stated we have purchased the building on the corner of Lorain and Dewy Road wluch is on <br />the north side of Lorain. The sign will be placed just east of the newly acquired building. N1r. <br />Rymarczyk asked if the sigu would be placed were the existing pole sigu is located. Mr. Kula <br />indicated it would be in the same area. Mr. Gomersall asked if it would be near any (hiveways. <br />Mr. Ku1a indicated that the driveway is ou the far east side of the site closer to their show room. <br />Law Director M. Gareau asked if the new building would be used in conjunction with the <br />existing business. Mr. Ku1a indicated that it would be used as the dealerships main office. <br />Mr. Maloney inquired if the sign for the rear business would be removed. Mr. Kula stated that it <br />was not in the plans. No further questions were asked. <br />W. Kremzar moved to grant Halleen Kia, 27788 Lorain Road, the Request for variance <br />(1123.12). Gateway, 26103 Lorain Road <br />Request for variance (1123.12). <br />Appealing the decision of the Building Commissioner to deny the use of the cow spot box as a <br />logo which was the ruling of the architectural review board. The new sign package, although <br />different, complies with previous decisions of the board of zoning appeals and is actually the <br />same or less, in size. <br />Chairmau Gomersall called all interested parties before the board. The oath was adlniuistered to <br />Mr. Dan Murphy. Mr. Gomersall inquired as to why this request was not asked for the last time <br />Gateway was before the board. Mr. Murphy suggested that Gateway was having the new logo <br />reviewed and it was not eccepted until after the variances had been granted. Mr. Gomersall <br />asked why the rear building sign that has been erected is 15'sqft. over what was granted. Mr. <br />Murphy stated he believed it was only a 1"ft. over size. Mr. Rymarczyk stated the sign is <br />actually 16.5' square feet over size, the sign that was approved was, 3'ft. S" x 17.8" and you <br />erected a sign that is 4'.1"inch high x 20'ft. long. Mr. Murphy suggested he had spoke to W.
