Gomersall inoved to grant Ryder Trucks 24769 Lorain Road, a variance to allow the increase <br />nutnber of 15 foot trucks that may be stored at the business from four (4) to eight (8)., provided no 24 <br />foot vehicles to be parked over night, and that they are to maintain the fence on the east wall that is <br />presently there. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section. 1161.05 ( Off street parlang and loading) which <br />specifies the number of parking spaces required. The motion was seconded by J. Konold and <br />unanimously approved. Variance Granted <br />Ascension Lutheran Church (Mon?yello), 28081 Lorain Road: <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request the following variances, a 8.0' side yard variance at wet <br />property line (10.0' req'd). Request a 10.0' rear yard variance at angle area of rear (20.0' req'd) <br />request 5.0' side yard variance at east property line (10.0' req'd). Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section, <br />1139.07. Note: Above variances are for phase 1 of the project only. Phase II& III are not to be <br />considered at this time. <br />Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties before the board. The oath was administered to <br />Mr. Mongello, architect, Mr. Mrs. Dillon, Mrs. Kopko. Mr. Gomersall stated there are quite a few <br />variances being requested the person doing the presentation can proceed. Mrs. Kopko stated we would <br />like a 8 ft. side yard variance North West corner of land on the map, they would like to continue the <br />parking in the same plane without going to the lOft. setback on the side, and then we would like a lOft. <br />variance in the South rear property so we can have additional parking. Mr. Gomersall asked if back <br />there now. Mr. Dillon stated there is nothing behind it as it shows in the photo. Mrs. Kopko stated <br />there is a creak back in the woods there. Developer presented photos depicting different angles for the <br />board to see. Mr. Gomersall stated you need a variance for a 5 ft. side yard, I see a very good plan, <br />and you are talking about something that will be used mainly on Sundays, and special events things like <br />that, it's not like it is a retail parking lot. Mr. Mongello stated they are not abutting any residents the <br />neighbor to the eat is a Ziebart rusting place. Mr. Gomersall stated he would entertain a motion at this <br />time. <br />T.
