should be aware of the Cities requirements. Mr. Casteel indicate that Chi-Chi's has had
changes in their management a few times since the building has been built. Mr. Liggett
indicated that the colors fit the type of food that it serves, Southwestern. Mr. Yager
commented that the teal green and purple did not offend him, but he did not like the purple
windows. The door should blend into the building. Mr. Liggett suggested that the purple
color and flags made the building look more festive. Mr. Yager questioned if the flags
would be changed, as they no longer matched the building. Mr. Casteel suggested changing
the flags would be looked into. Mr. Yager suggested that the brown adobe looks out of
place, so maybe the brown should be livened up a bit and paint the egress doors to hide
them. The windows should also be painted the same color that is used for the natural brown
look. Mr. Steel reviewed what was being asked of him to do. Mr. Zergott questioned if the
purple around the entrances bothered Mr. Yajer. Mr. Yager replied "no" if the banners are
brighter. Mr. Liggett indicated that he wouldn't mind the purple if there were banners to
mute the purple.
M. Yager motioned to approve Chi-Chi's Mexican Restaurant of 26410 Great Northern
Shopping Center their proposal that consists of painting the exterior building with the
following comments. The windows be repainted to coordinate with the brownish wood trim
color. That the brown wood trim color be either remain as existing or altered and that the
banners be replaced so that the vibrancy complements with the new paints. The motion was
seconded by B. Zergott and unanimously approved. Motion Carried.
VI. ADJOURNIVIENT:
B. Zergott motioned to excuse the absents of Board member K. Schulz and adjourn the
meeting. The motion was seconded by C. Allan and unanimously approved.
Meeting adjourned at 7:00pm.
onna Rote, Clerk of Commissions
Brian Zergott, Chairman
5
