° 134.25 feet. Mr. Rieke indicated that he would rather see an 8 X 8 shed on the existing slab so he <br />was withdrawing his opposition. No Furtlier comments were made. <br />W. Kremzar motioned to grant Charles Gentile of 29575 Dorchester Dr. his request for variance <br />(1123.12). Which consists of a shed and that.the following variance be granted: <br />1) A variance to erect a shed in side yard, (Code prohibits this). Note: Replacing existing shed on <br />existing pad. Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section, (1135.02 D 1). The motion was <br />seconded by J. Konold and unanimously approved. Variance Granted. <br />10. North Olmsted Beverage- 30781 Lorain Rd. <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Proposal consists of refacing a prohibited pole sign: <br />The following variance is required: <br />1) A variance to reface a prohibited pole sign, (Code does not allow alteration). <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section, (1163.19 A) and (1163.22 A). <br />Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties forward, and reviewed the variances requested. <br />Mr. Incorvaia, owner and Mr. Jarvis, the sign contractor came forward. Mr. Gomersall questioned <br />if the applicant understood what was read at the beginning to the meeting regarding pole signs. <br />Mr. Incorvaia indicated that he understood what was read regarding pole signs. Mr. Gomersall <br />questioned if the Board members or audience members had any comments. No Further comments <br />were made. <br />7. Konold motioned to grant North Olmsted Beverage of 30781 Lorain Rd. their request for <br />variance (1123:12). Which consists of re-facing a prohibited pole sign and that the following <br />variance be granted: <br />1) A variance to reface a prohibited pole sign, (Code does not allow alteration). <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section, (1163.19 A) and (1163.22 A). The motion was <br />seconded by W. Kremzar and unanimously approved. Variance Granted. <br />11. Midas; 28820 Lorain Road: <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Proposal consists of a sign package. <br />The following variances are required: <br />1) A 42.75 square foot variance for building use signage, (Code permits 118sq ft, applicant shows <br />160.71sq ft), section (1163.11 B). ; <br />2) A 21.37 square foot variance for business use signage, (Code permits 159.3sq ft, applicant <br />shows 180.67sq ft), section (1163.11 A). <br />3) A variance for 3 additional.wall signs, (Code permits 1, applicant shows 4),. section (1163.12 <br />A). <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 sections, (1163.11 (B) (A)) and 1163.12 A). <br />Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties forward, and reviewed the variances requested. <br />Mr. Robert Amstadt, the owner and Mr. Karl Amstadt, the son came forward to review their <br />request. Mr. Karl Amstadt suggested that Midas was changing their business to a full service <br />facility. The Midas Company has added Auto service experts to their corporate name. Mr. Karl <br />Amstadt showed the board members pictures of an existing prototype shop. He indicated that the <br />total sign square footage would be reduced from what was currently there now and the pole sign <br />will be replaced with a ground sign. Mr. Conway indicated that the proposal had gone before the <br />Architectural Review Board as a minor change for the exterior color of the building as.well as the <br />signage. He questioned if the applicants would be using the gray colors. Mr. Amstadt indicated <br />7
