A 402sq ft variance for both detached garages total square footage, (Code permits 750sq ft, <br />applicant requests 1172sq ft), (1135.02 C 1). <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 sections (1135.02 C 1& 3). The motion was seconded by, <br />W. Kremzar and unanimously approved. Variance tGranted. <br />7. Famous Footwear; 26101 Great Northern Plaza North: <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Proposal consists of a sign package. <br />The following variance is required: <br />1. A 59 square foot variance for business unit signage, (Code permits SOsq ft, applicant requests <br />109sq ft), (1163.11 C ). <br />2. A 34 square foot variance for sign face area, (Code permits 75sq ft, applicant requests 109sq <br />ft), ( 1163.12 A). <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 sections ( 1163.11 C) and (1163.12 A). <br />Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties forward and reviewed the variances being <br />requested. Mr. Krueger, with famous Footwear, and Mr. Bayaus with Allied lighting came <br />forward to present their proposal. Mr. Bayaus suggested the sign was being replaced, due to the <br />remodeling of Great Northern shopping center. Mr. Bayaus showed the board members pictures <br />of the previous sign that was in place before the remodeling took place. He suggested the <br />previous sign was 124sq ft total and we are only asking for 109sq ft for the new sign. He <br />suagested because of the setback from Brookpark Road, and the loss of the canopy they needed <br />the requested sign size. Mr. Gomersall commented that with the distance the store is from <br />Brookpark Road he felt the sign size was warranted. The rest of the board members indicated <br />they agreed with Mr. Gomersall. No further comments were made. <br />W. Kremzar motioned to grant Famous Footwear of 26101 Great Northern Plaza North their <br />request for variance (1123.12). Which consists of a sign package, and that the following <br />variances be granted: <br />1. A 59 square foot variance for business unit signage, (Code permits SOsq ft, applicant requests <br />109sq ft), (1163.11 C ). <br />2. A 34 square foot variance for sign face area, (Code permits 75sq ft, applicant requests 109sq <br />ft), ( 1163.12 A). <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 sections ( 1163.11 C) and (1163.12 A). The motion was <br />seconded by, T. Koberna and unanimously approved. Variances Granted. <br />8. Charles Lehmann Sr.: 25238 Deerfield Drive: <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Proposal consists of erecting a swimming pool. <br />The following variance is required: <br />A 4'foot variance for rear setback, (Code requires 10'ft rear yard setback, applicant shows 6'ft). <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section, (1135.02 D 4, I). Note: Allowable lot coverage is <br />not an issue. <br />Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties forward and reviewed the variances being <br />requested. Mr. Lehmann Sr. came forward to present his proposal. Mr. Gomersall reviewed that <br />there was an existing 6'foot fence presently around the property. Mr. Lehmann indicated Mr. <br />Gomersall was correct. Mrs. Sima came forward to be sworn in, she indicated she was a <br />neighbor of Mr. Lehman and would like to know were the pool would be placed. Mr. Lehmann <br />showed Mrs. Sima were the pool would be located. Mrs. Sima asked if there was an ordinance <br />regarding how close a pool could be to a house. Mr. Rymarczyk indicated the code only <br />4
