.? <br />close the hotel was to the lot line on the East Side. Mr. Wagner indicated he didn't know the <br />distance of the building in regards to the lot line. Mr. Gareau questioned if someone were to <br />develop the abutting parcel they would have to maintain a 50'foot sideyard, and once a building <br />was put up wouldn't it block your sign. Mr. Wagner indicated he could not answer Mr. Gareau's <br />question. Mr. Osterlund indicated the need for the east wall sign was for visibility from highway <br />480 only. No further comments were made. <br />W. Kremzar motioned to approve Candlewood Hotel of 24741Country Club Blvd. their request <br />for variance (1123.12). Which consists of a sign package, and that the following variances be <br />granted: <br />1) A 54.square foot variance for business use signage, (Code permits 306.sq ft, applicant <br />request 370.5 sq ft), (1163.11 A). <br />2) A 93.5 square foot variance for business building signage, (Code permits 223.sq ft applicant request <br />316.5 sq ft), (1163.11 B). <br />3) A variance to install wall signs # 2 and #3, (Code pertnits 1 applicant requests 3),(1163.12 A). <br />4) Sign #2, a 45.75 square foot variance for wall signage, (Code permits max. 75sq ft applicant requests <br />120.75sq ft), (1163.12 A). <br />5) Sign #2 a 1.3'foot height variance, (Code permits 4'ft applicant requests 5.3'foot),(1163.12 A) <br />6) Sign #3, a 2" inch height variance, (Code permits 4'ft applicant requests 4.2'ft), (1163.12 A). <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 sections (1163.11 A) and (1163.12 A). <br />Note: #2 wall sign originally approved for the east elevation, it was installed on the west <br />elevation. Therefore it is treated as a new sign due to the fact that it was improperly installed, <br />and without permission. The motion was seconded by, T. Koberna and unanimously approved. <br />Variances Granted. <br />11. Terry Brown; 4114 Dover Center Road: <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Proposal consists of an 18'foot pool. <br />The following variances is requested: <br />A variance to place the 18'foot pool in the side yard of a corner lot. <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 sections, ( 1135.06 B) and (1135.02 I). <br />Note: The pool would be within the required setback, behind an existing fence, which was <br />granted a variance previously. <br />Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties forward and reviewed the variance being <br />requested. Mr. & Mrs. Terry Brown came forward to present their proposal. Mr. Gomersall <br />indicated he had a hard time following the site plan that had been submitted. Mr. Kremzar <br />reviewed that there was presently a fence on the lot. Mr. Gomersall asked were Dover Center <br />Road was located on the site plan that had been submitted. Mr. Brown showed the board <br />members were the street was located on their site plan. Mr. Gomersall indicated that he had no <br />further questions and asked if there were any questions from other board or audience members. <br />No further questions were asked. <br />J. Maloney motioned to approve Jerry Brown of 4114 Dover Center Road his request for <br />variance (1123.12).
